Dr. Julius L. West

"A great quote by Pastor West."

Julius L. West is the Lead Pastor of Sûnergeō Christian Fellowship in Upland, CA.

Loveland Church in Ontario, CA is where Julius L. West began his journey as a Pastor. From 1990-1993 he served as an Administrative Assistant to the Senior Pastor and in 1993, transitioned into the role of Associate Pastor. As Associate Pastor he oversaw the Drama & Sports Departments, Worship Services and Special Events as well as being a Pre-Marital Counselor and Teacher. He provided a loving shoulder to cry on for bereaved families and made it a point to visit congregation members who had been hospitalized.

Prior to joining the Loveland Church staff, Pastor Julius’ involvement with both secular and gospel entertainment resulted in personal and professional dealings with some of the most talented and successful artists of the 1980’s and 90’s. Included among the most intimate of his numerous associations are Philip Bailey; Earth, Wind, and Fire; Deniece Williams and the Winans.

Pastor Julius graduated from Northwestern University with a B.A. in 1971 and from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary in 2004 with a Master of Divinity degree and in 2011 with a degree of Doctor of Ministry. Among his major ultimate goals is the completion of several books and other original writing projects.  A personal memoir has been completed and in the process of looking for a publisher.

Pastor Julius also oversees Focus Ministries, a Fontana, California based Christian organization providing targeted outreach and discipleship programs including retreats, Pre-Marital counseling and sports activities for men, women, married and engaged couples, teens and youth. His heart for people and his love for God have caused him to bear fruit as both a servant and a leader of men.

Pastor Julius is committed to draw from his rich background of diverse experiences to uniquely share the love of Christ through means that are personal, practical and creative. He resides in Fontana, California with wife Tina, son Justin Case and daughter Amara Christina-Marie.
